Rules and Regulations

The following rules and regulations are a part of the Exhibitors' contract and each Exhibitor shall abide by such rules and regulations as set forth herein.

1. PAYMENT OF EXHIBIT FEE: Exhibit fee shall be paid in advance of the Show. Payment shall accompany this contract. Exhibit space can be released for sale if Exhibitor becomes delinquent in payment. A late fee will be charged on past due exhibit fees. No exhibit will be permitted to be set-up until full exhibit fee has been received. All Exhibit Fees are Non-refundable.

2. NO SHARING OR SUBLETTING OF SPACE: No Exhibitor shall share or sublet the whole or any part of assigned space, or exhibit therein, any programs or services other than those specified in the contract unless subletting of space is pre-approved in writing, by the show management.

3. STAFFING OF EXHIBITS: Exhibit space must be manned at all times during regular show hours. All Exhibitors must keep their displays up until 4:pm on Sunday the last day of the Show. ***MOVE-OUT starts Sunday at 4:15 pm and ends at 11 pm.

4. EXHIBITOR BADGES: A total of Six (6) Exhibitor Badges will be issued to each Exhibitor per booth space. Badges should be worn by Exhibitor staff at all times during the show. Any changes of booth staff will be accomplished by leaving the Badge at the Show Office, whereby that Exhibitor Badge will be issued to the new booth worker. There will be a $5.00 charge to make up a new Badge for a lost or misplaced Exhibitor Badge.

5. SHIPMENTS: All exhibits or bulk exhibit material must be shipped directly to Levy Exposition Services (listed below), the show decorating contractor. NOTE: the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall will not accept freight deliveries.

6. EXHIBIT CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION: Standard booths are 10' X 10' with an 8 ft. high (white) draped back-wall and two 3 ft. high draped side rails. Each booth has 500 wt. of electricity, one 8 ft. skirted table, one chair, and one identification sign 7" x 44". SIDE-WALLS AND BACK-WALL: SIDE-WALLS shall not be set-up so that it blocks off or otherwise interferes with the view of any neighboring booth, or any other display. Maximum BACK-WALL height permitted for exhibit is 8 ft. Extra equipment such as chairs, tables, carpeting, additional electrical outlets, etc. are the responsibility of Exhibitor. Equipment can be rented from Levy Exposition Services (listed below).

7. CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN: Custom designs are subject to Show management approval. All unfinished or exposed portions of exhibit must be covered or draped. Any disturbing noise produced by an Exhibitor is prohibited. No part of the exhibit may extend beyond the assigned boundaries. All aisles must be kept clear. All decorations must be flame proof -- an affidavit of flam -proofing must be available for inspection by Fire Marshal.

8. EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITIES: No materials or signs shall be taped, nailed or tacked to poles or walls of the Exhibition Hall building. Exhibitors shall abide by all laws, rules and regulations of the Federal, State, City governments and the Seattle Center. All decorations and electrical wiring must comply with local fire laws.

9. INSURANCE: Exhibitors are responsible for insuring their exhibits at their own expense. SHOW will not be held liable for any injury that may occur at exhibits to employees or show attendes, or for the loss of, or damage to exhibits. Exhibitor and their Insurance company shall hold harmless THE TRAVEL SHOW, Show management, employees and other service companies of any and all liabilities and damages. Please email a copy of your proof of insurance.

10. UNCONTROLLABLE EVENTUALITIES: Reasonable precaution against damage of loss by fire, water, and other emergencies will be taken, but SHOW is not responsible for acts of nature, arson, civil disobedience or vandalism which may cause the premise to be unusable for display. Exhibitor shall waive any claim for damages of compensation, and agrees that THE TRAVEL SHOW may retain all - or a part of exhibit fee - to cover administration costs and pre-show expenses incurred, up to that time, if the Show is not held.

11. RULES AND REGULATIONS CHANGES: SHOW reserves the right to modify or change these rules and regulations as deemed appropriate for the operation of the Show. Violation of any rule will subject exhibitor to possible expulsion from the show.
